Water cube


Let me round off the first day with this post in response to The Daily Post’s photo challenge for the week called grid. This is a photo taken during my first visit to Beijing’s iconic Water Cube: its Olympics swimming venue. The sun was setting behind it, and through the semi-transparent bubbles which make up the external facade of the structure you could see the trusses which hold it up.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.
