Narami has a photo challenge called Textures. This photo I took almost a year ago during a walk in a garden seems to be appropriate.

Large trees are like the elephant in the story of six visually challenged people describing it. Trees also reveal different qualities depending on which part you look at. Step back and look at the whole, and you are lost in admiration of its sculptural quality: clean lines sweeping up to a spreading canopy. Step up close and you are confronted with the texture of the bark. That is what this photo is about.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.
