On foot and in a hurry

I’d gone away from the well-beaten track for tourists in Rome, and found a few interesting things. I was trying to get a photo of the graffiti on the wall (the green on brick looked brilliant) when this man walked into the frame. I was happy to have him there. He anchored the photo instantly to the mid-morning after-rush hour. You are a little late for a meeting. As you walk rapidly, you try to send a message to let someone know that you are on your way. This probably happens to many people every day.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.

  1. My favourite line of all: “This probably happens to many people every day.” I think though I would have ventured to add a qualification i.e. “every SINGLE day” đŸ™‚
