A white rose in monochrome. I wanted to remove all hints of colour to see what is left behind: light and shadows, texture. What’s special about that, you may ask. A new 4 diopter lens which I got transforms the most mundane subject into a whole fascinating new world.
This is day 2 of my 7 day B&W challenge. Thank you, Rekha, for pushing me out of my comfort zone of posting two photos a month. I’m supposed to nominate one person each day to the challenge. I would like to nominate hbhatnagar, who does very interesting monochromes. You can start any time you like, 7 hours later, or seven days, or seven months. Or you could think about it for seven years. No compulsion, no hurry.
Monochrome rose is really beautiful.

that’s an intense rose. I like how close you got to get it right.

Thanks for waking me up. Your feed does not seem to appear in my “followed sites” stream any longer. I’d assumed you have stopped. Great that you haven’t.

Self hosted WP sites have such problems. Well I am still active and planning to be more active.
