Yellow grass with elephant pottery? You could imagine that until you saw the two of them moving. Was it a mother and child? I don’t know. A herd of elephants is very closely knit, and the young ran from one adult to another. Could be an aunt and niece. Apart from the slight anxiety that the baby exhibited, the herd ignored us as they pulled up tufts of grass to eat.

Nothing is more sweet IMHO than a mama and baby elephant. Beautifully captured IJ

Lovely to see the little one with the protective adult. I love the contrast between their grey hide and the yellow grass. Nature in perfect colour harmony. Thanks for joining in on Friendly Friday!
