The Photographer

A long tree-lined path leads through the Purple Mountains outside Nanjing to the tomb of the Hongwu Emperor, the first of the Mings. Sundays are full of the drama of families out on a walk. Many families have a photographer, and each artist has a friend waiting patiently for them to return to earth.
